Beautiful views

Yesterday I took Mary, Brooker and Peanut the dog to our favorite walking trail.

I love this trail. Sorta like your in the woods, but still close to town with a little trail that is paved. Easy scootering an easy walking for Brook. We get to see the Elk

She still has a thing for walking on grass and rocks. We're working on it. She did actually walk on grass and pebbles at the playing park last week and then shocked me by walking in the grass barefoot at Aunt V's. Only a couple of steps but that is waaaay better than freeking out when her feet touched grass just weeks before. Yeaaa Brooker!!!

We also had our follow up appt w/ the ENT in the early morning. Brook is doing great!! Her tonsil~outa~me sight looked perfect. She rocked that now didn't she?!!! We went for another hearing test too. Left ear not as good as the right ear but they did see improvement. Brook is not to good about paying attention in the sound proof booth. She likes the two way mirror too much LOL. We'll check again in six months. We also got the go ahead to start drinking from an open cup. Yeaaaa :) So I had some little dixie cups around and at dinner last night we tried for the very first time to drink from a cup.

She did GREAT!! Like she knew how all along. So proud!! Only one little drip on the chin. After she realized she could do it, out the window went dinner. Just drinks, too funny. We can also adjust her feeding plan at school now too. I might tweek it a bit but she still has to deal with Laringotracheamalasia so I think i'll keep in in place a bit longer. At least through the summer to see how she adjusts to being able to swallow and make sure the little flapy thing in her throat works right and food won't shoot out her nose.

Also while we were at Doernbeckers we went and met a beautiful little boy named Aidan and his super strong momma, Melissa. You can visit him at www.prayersforaidan.blogspot.com His family is a friend of a friend. They need some Prayers. Aidan fell from a thrid story window and landed on concrete. I've got to say this happened a bit over two weeks ago and he looked GREAT today!!! They were sitting in the same rocking chair i've sat in. Sureal, yes. They looked so peaceful as Melissa rocked sleeping Aidan. I do not know this family but felt compeled to do something for them. I got them a nice card and inclosed some money for them to get some lunch. It was the least I could do. Pray for this family, Please.

That's about it here. Another beautiful sunny day today. Probally more walking at the trail is in store for us.
