Brook woke up at 5:30 AM today...Ugggggg. She must remember it's b~day party day. Yeaaaa. Of corse pics will come later...LOL. Were all going over to the farm for a BBQ.
Tomorrow is surgery day. We have to be up and moving at 4 am. Yea, 4AM. Be at hosp by 6am. Surgery is 8ish. Hubby is starting to become really nervous. Can't sleep and just thinking of this process is almost too much for him. I feel for him. I have been Praying for weeks that he will be ok as well as Brooker of corse. I'm sure all will be fine but good thing the VA hosp is right next store, just in case. That is the LAST thing I want to happen, have both of them in the hosp, but that is my reality. Constant worry. Having a medically fragile husband is just not fun!!! Pray for him. Me on the other hand went to the doc and had a talk with her. I love my doctor. She rocks. I told her of the latest adventure in the Brookster house and she gave me some happy pills. I never thought I would need a freekin' pill to deal with this but she is sure i'll snap if i don't relax. She knows my life. She knows all about me. I'll trust her and take my happy pill :) She says I just need them to get through this latest hurdle. She doesn't want me back in the hospital for Extreme Exaustion. No kiddin', that sucked. All in a days work around here. Being a constant caregiver to two of my family members is draining. Add working full time and my side job, and, and, and...... you get the picture. Life is good.
I got a new video of Brooker doing her ABC"s. I'm just so very proud of how far she has come. All the stoopid old doctors always talking about how our kids won't do this or that. Oh freekin' really. They need to hang with the kids I know. We have some smarties around. The book that Brook is reading was made by her wonderful big sister, Mary. She is always making some new fangled thing. She is my artsie fartsie kid. She is so very creative.
I'll for sure post b~day party pics tonight. I'm sure I won't sleep. Nerves. Darn ol' nerves. Who invented them anyway....LOL

Janna enjoyed watching Brook do her ABC's early this am. what a smart girl! we've been up since 5:45 - sounds like you have an early bird as well :)
I LOVE the b-day party dress/pictures and it's great that big sister captures all of those expressions on camera!
what a wonderful Idea. We have these in the bath, I’m going to stick them straight into a booklet.
