4th of July

This year for the brooker wasn't all that exciting. We got up *way to early* and waitied for the parade. Brook was very excited. She saw lots of neet things. The bestest part of the parade this year is that Brook didn't freek out WHAT SO EVER!! Proud Momma :) She sat through the entire parade and clapped and laughed. Such a good time for her. Her is some of what she saw.

Waiting....

Once again, only in Molalla will you see a motorized Porta Potty cruzing down the road

I'm not quite sure what the saw shop was thinking. Does it really take all those chainsaws to cut down one tree. Geeze, thats a suprize. Must of been buzy chopping down the damn forest up the road.

We also had the pleasure of meeting a new friend. This is Vicky (who we watch the parade with every year, white tank w/ pull over) and her God daughter Cas. Short for Casandra (red shirt) Cas is so cool!! Fun to hang with. This girl is such an inspration for me. She goes to school and just graduated top of her class. She's on her way to collage shortly. Just a wonderful girl!! She was driving down the freeway the day before this w/ her Dad, when they crashed and rolled the car down the road. Both came out unskathed. Cas just had a little briuse and her leg and Dad had a little cut from flying glass. Everyone is fine, except the car. Oh, did I mention she has CP. Thats nothing she says. Doesn't stop her from doing what she wants. I believe it. What spunk!!!

Finally, a shout out to my good buddy Winston.

Winston is Donny's good buddy. He comes down from Canada every year to hang with the Brookster and myself. Of corse, he has to Rodeo as well. Every year on the 5th of July, Winston and I will sit out front on the steps smoking some funky Canadian cigars and jabbering about the adventures of the week. I live vicariously through him and Donny ;) They had a great time this week. Lots of fun had by all!! I sure miss him when he goes away. Untill next year Mr. Winston {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Fell asleep before the fireworks. I'm old now day's.......not funny!!
