Oregon Disability MEGACONFERENCE
educating~empowering~inspiring~connecting Strengthening our bonds and promoting understanding as we move forward together, united in our desire for independence, choice, equal access and dignity for all people.
What is the MegaConference?
A Coalition of disability related organizations coming together in Oregon to plan the second annual statewide disability MegaConference. Our shared purpose in creating this conference is to provide a forum to educate, empower, inspire, and connect all people involved in the field of disabilities. Together, we are stronger and able to empower people with disabilities, their family members, and those who support them. These efforts are based solely on the funding received from our partnering agencies and donors. By combining resources for a joint conference, we lessen the burden of time and expense on each participating organization.
June 25-27, 2009 are the dates for this statewide conference, which will be held at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel in Portland, Oregon. Please visit Oregon Disability MEGACONFERENCE for a snapshot of last year’s conference and also for information about this year’s conference as it develops.
