Hiding from the Boss Man....LOL

Once again my boss called an hour before I leave work and ask's if I can stay and help him do this and that, he'll be here in a couple hours....... Ummmm..... NO!!!!

I'm frikking OUTA HERE!!!

Working 5 days a week, 24 hrs a day, SUCKS but it has been a Blessing through the past three years of Hub's and Brook's medical stuff.

So I threw some stuff in the van and we headed to the camp spot JJ was holding for us. We were in hiding ;)

Brook had a great time.

We ate, alot...LOL

Then Mom chopped some wood and Brook helped build a camp fire



Off to bed. Brook took a bit to fall asleep b/c even though we've been camping lots of times sence Brook was born, her and I always drive the 10 minutes home to shower and sleep..... in our own comffy bed. This time, we stayed.

Sister and crew, even Gramma, came up for a swim. Brook loves to play in the water. Everyone crossed the river and of corse, Brook wanted to cross too. Oh fine... geeze. Mom did not wanna get wet. Off we go. We make it almost all the way accross and BOOOM, down we go, SPLASH, on the ROCKS. Brook was NOT hurt. I caught her but my knee on the other hand.....

OUCH!!!



Feels much better today and has even turned a nice shade of green and purple. Oh what we do for our kids.

Here is a funny story and go ahead and laugh even though it's so not funny.

A day of a Mom w/ a really tired kid.

So Brook was very tired. She had been playing hard for two days and realllly needed to nap. She wasn't budging so in the van we went for a sleepytown cruise. Ahhhh. quite, how nice :)

Everyone was down at the river catching crawdad's and so I carefully got her out of the van and wen't to sit by the fire in my super cummmfy chair.

It was nice. No one around for miles and the river is running and the birds are chirping, ahhhhh... just me and my baby girl. NICE :)

This was my view for an hour and a half



All of a sudden, my lap was feeling quite warm. AAAHHHHH, Brook just pee'd on me!! EWWWWWWWW!!!!

Dalema. Do I get up and change the mess or do I just sit there and let my very tired, played so very hard, 3 yr old, sleep. ??????????

Yep, I sat there, in a puddle of Brook pee, for what seemed like forever. EWWWW!!

What we won't do for our kids. Geeeeese!!

When she woke up we headed straight home for a bath :)

Fun time had by all. We will head back up on Tuesday w/ ALLLLL the kids for 4 days. I'll likely be toast by weeks end.
