What a great trip. Brook had the best time. Everyone came and stayed the night or just hung out for the day. It was hard to find pic's that I could post. So many people, there was always someone in the photo who doesn't want their pic posted in internet land.... YOU know who you are.... **ahem**.
It did rain every.stinkin.night but I digress. At least I wasn't at work!! We wern't that far from home so Brook was always clean and warm. Did I mention that kid had the best time. OMG, she said soooooo many new words. She said Malachai. (Mal~a~kai) Yep, over and over and over again. Everyone was super impressed. She would just talk up a storm. About her boat ride and swiming. Climbing the tree. Golf. Volley ball. She loved that!! She had a blast.
The best part..... I think she conqured her fear of the ground. For those who don't know, Brook has a sensory issue with anything other than concrete. Oh boy!! DID, yep, did have a major issue. Now, after a few days in the woods, she will do dirt, sticks, weeds, grass, straw, big rocks, little rocks, you name it, she clobbered it :) So proud!! Truely, I was very impressed. (Then tonight we went to the farm for dinner and blackberry picking, and she walked to the barn and fed the goats. In the dry grass and hay. Yipppppeee)
Back to the story.... ;)
This is how Brook was almost the whole trip. Smiling, happy, laughing girl.

This is how Brook looked after 5 days of camping. LOLOLOL

While we were down swiming this white dove flew over and landed. Sister got to sit 3 feet away from it. It just kept flying over us.

This is a natural spring up on the river. Yes you can drink it. Actually, this water is awesome. People drive up from town just to fill up water jugs year round.

Brook trying to feed Dad. LOL

Here is that darn cliff I fell down last week. My knee is still a nice shade of brownish purple. Getting better though ;)

Hope everyone had a good week. Don't forget to pop over and see Zoey. Great news there {{{{{HUGS ZOEY}}}}}

One of these days I hope Parker is healthy enough for these kind of adventures!
