Yep, thats Mary.
Last week was not only awareness for child abuse on FB but it also consisted of Momma and Mary in court twice to file papers against her Dad.
Marys Dad has been violent for as long as i've known him. Almost 20 yrs.
The restraining order I filed on Nov. 7th makes #4 in the last 10 years. Marys Dad attacked us on Nov 6th. I'll spare the details. It was bad!
Last year in October DHS/CPS helped me get Mary out of her Dad house full time and get her here to a safe place. He lost custody and could only see her on Wednesdays and every other weekend.
It was soooo horrible for Mary. I felt sick!
After this last episode not only was I done w/ this man, so was Mary and so was DHS/CPS.
To the rescue, my wonderful attorney!! I love her!!
After our last court hearing yesterday Marys Dad can no longer see her. Lost all parenting time. He can no longer come w/in 300 yards of my house, Marys school or anywhere near us!
Mary is now safe, loved beyond words and will never be subject to abuse from her Dad and step mom ever, ever, ever again!!!

Been there, done that. My ex was not abusive to our son, he just attracted those kinds of women. I went through custody hell before he figured out that our son was not going to be his sacrificial lamb. The road to peace can be a bit treacherous at times, but oh, so worth it in the end.
