Momma never said there would be days like this....: Ferratin

Ferratin, a funny little word i'd wish i'd known earlier. It's something in your blood that regulates your iron, is what I gather. It also has something to do w/ restless leg syndrome aka the little twitches Brook has done all her life.

Why was this not noted at the first sleep study, last year.

Who the hell knows!

My friend over at Uno mentioned Ferratin last week. I'd never heard of it. Come to find out, it's not a routine blood work. Thank God and Carolyn I asked for it. Your spose to have above 50 somethings and Brook has 11. The treatment is iron medicine. Liquid form of corse, so they have to order it in. Monday hopefully. My other friend Susan, also Unoland (you really should try Uno. My bestest Ds Mommies live there ;) ) was telling me of Dr Capone who talks of no iron supplements for our kids.

I'm conflicted.

I sure would like to have the little twitches go away. Poor girl, no wonder she has never hit REM sleep. Heck I can't sleep with her and get any sleep hence: ----> NO sleep in years!!! LOL

Also, her lungs looked, well, like Tami asked, "Is she sick". No she is not sick. I knew something was up with those x-rays!! I knew it! From what I gather it's not really a pneumonia looking picture but more of a bronchitis looking picture. She can't get a full breath in. Low SAT's.

Were RE~DOING THEM!!!!

AND, were going to OHSU, having a chest x~ray AND a neck/throat x~ray AND seeing Dr Pinter AND we're getting to the bottom of this noise once and for all!!

No more bullshit people!!!

Is this realllly a Laringotracheamalasia noise or is this a lung noise?

Thats all about that for now. Can you tell i'm just a little bit flubberflustered over this situation. I sooooooooo am! I've begged for chest x~rays for two years and everyone tells me it's a malasia noise, untill they finally do the x~ray.

Ugggggggghhhhhhhhh...........
